Terms & Conditions
All training courses booked for Angel Training by the Client shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions
This contract is made between Angel Training and the Client specified on the booking form. The person signing for and on behalf of the Client warrants to Angel Training that they have the authority to do so. If applicable certificates will be issued once full payment has been received. For replacement certificates a fee may be charged of £4 per certificate. Angel Training’s courses are constantly reviewed and improved and therefore we reserve the right to alter course content without prior notice.
In the event of cancellation of any booking or non-arrival by the Client, the Client shall pay to Angel Training a cancellation/non-arrival fee. However, Angel Training will do its utmost to re book the course place/places, but if, having used their reasonable endeavours, Angel Training are unable to do so the following cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation of event; for corporate, charity bookings etc
3 weeks before course – 10% deposit not refundable
2 weeks before course – 50% of anticipated revenue
1 week before course – 75% of anticipated revenue
Cancellation of event; for personal home visits
1 week before visit- 50% deposit not refundable
In the event any member of a home visit is unable to attend, unless notified 48 hours in advance the full amount quoted at the time of booking will be payable.
Cancellation of event; open courses
Due to the nature of our hall hire contracts full payment must be made to confirm your place. Once your place has been confirmed your payment is neither refundable nor transferable to another booking unless agreed by private arrangement with owner Cheryl Parkes. Angel Training will attempt to re-book your place depending on the notice period given, however please ensure you are able to attend your course before confirming your place.
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE NOTIFIED BY PHONE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND CONFIRMED IN WRITING.
Angel Training reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on their part in the event of any damage or destruction of the Venue (or significant part thereof) by fire or other causes, any shortages of labour or food suppliers, strikes, walkouts or industrial unrest or any other cause beyond their control which prevent Angel Training from performing its obligations in connection with any booking.
Prices & Deposits
A deposit of 10% shall be payable at the time of corporate or charity bookings, bookings will not be deemed as confirmed until deposit is received. For personal home visit courses a booking deposit of 50% must be made to secure the date. For individuals booking onto an open course full payment must be made to secure their place prior to the course taking place. For corporate or charity organisations final payment is due within 28 days upon receipt of an invoice after course has been delivered. Any queries should not affect immediate payment of outstanding amounts. All cheques are payable to “Cheryl Parkes.” All over due invoices will incur a £10 administration fee and interest will be charged at a rate of 5% per week on amounts remaining at the due date. For personal home visits the remaining 50% balance must be paid on the day in cash and a receipt will be provided if required. Personal cheques will not be accepted on the day but will be accepted as an initial deposit. Prices quoted for corporate or charity bookings are for the course and remain the same even if the course is not full to capacity.
Angel Training has public liability insurance to cover any damage to the venue caused directly by the training. Any such damage or injury to a third party is also covered with an indemnity limit of £5 million; copies of this will be made available on request.
Any personal data collected will be used for the administration of the course as required by Angel Training. This information may also be used for marketing purposes and you could be contacted by letter, or e-mail with details of future courses organised by Angel Training including certificate renewal information. You may opt out from further communication at any time. Angel Training will not contact any candidate or organisation that have previously unsubscribed from our database. Angel Training will not pass on your contact details to a third party without your prior permission.
To enable us to ensure that all candidates are treated fairly and their requirements are fully met, you must advise us in advance of any needs either medical or education that your candidates have that may impact on their ability to undertake the course in full. Angel Training will ensure appropriate reasonable adjustments are made to ensure the candidate can participate full. Please note that any additional costs incurred for specialist equipment or personnel such as signers or translators will be passed onto you, the client.
